  One star for the spectacularly snide congregation - a few of which might actually show up at your house to invade your privacy, make intimate inquiries and/or pick a fight with you, I might add - but a second star for the more conscionable parishioners and the building itself.
  
  EDIT: It seems that showing up at your house to pick a fight with you - as stated pretty unequivocally - now passes for "striking up conversation". And I suppose that requesting details of an obviously intimate relationship just passes for "being friendly", too... and all to feed a relentless gossip mill run by supremely arrogant "Christians" who spend an inordinate amount of time talking crap behind each others' backs. Such a delightful community! I guess my lack of a hick town background has blinded me to the "charming" nuances of a part of the world where Deliverance might just pass as a romantic comedy... ;)

  Beautiful church, full of tradition. Can't believe anyone would say they are anything but hospitable. I think you must not be from a small town or you wouldnt be so touchy about their curiosity. It is their way of striking up a conversation. Loved it.
